NEFF ELEMENTARY COUNSELORS' CORNER

I am excited to join the Neff family as your 2nd and 3rd grade counselor! I am a North Carolina native and received my undergraduate and graduate training at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill for degrees in Psychology and School Counseling. I have worked in both the elementary and middle school setting, supporting students in their social/emotional, academic and career/readiness goals. My goal is to work with students and all stakeholders to fully empower students to reach their learning potential.

I am Ms. Richard and I am your 4th & 5th grade school counselor! I received my undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education at UTSA and my Masters in School Counseling from The University of St. Thomas. I taught Kindergarten, Second, and Third Grade and spent one year in Alvin ISD as an elementary school counselor. The mental wellness of children and their families are a top priority for me. Partnered with their teachers, I hope to give the children at Neff the support they need to be successful and mentally well in and out of the classroom.
